Writing has long been a passion which I have nurtured for many years. At first, I devoted my spare time time and energy to novel writing, and I have two and a two-thirds novel-length manuscripts sitting on my bookshelf. As a research assistant I helped with the writing of numerous research reports; however it wasn’t until I became a contributing (then associate) editor for The Prevention Researcher that I truly began to explore writing in earnest.

For many years, my energy was devoted to academic writing, drawing on my background in psychology and public health. Then I turned my attention to writing  general interest articles as well as active blogging, focused on human interest and travel-style articles. Now I am script writing for FosterParentCollege.com where I help create online training courses of foster, adoptive, and kinship parents.
